Studio Events and Workshops
I love my studio. One of the beauties of living in Los Angeles is the ability to have an outdoor space. I would not have the quality of life that nurtures my creative spirit living virtually anywhere else. I have two gazebos that allow for covered space and are perfect for all types of projects, workshops, and open lab hours. The space is filled with tools that include a water saw, a Dremel, a metal saw, nippers, thin set, grout, epoxy, etc. There are shelves full of plates, platters, teapots, mugs, and fabulous whimsical figurines of all types and sizes. It’s a fun and inspiring place to visit, take a workshop, or work on your own project. The back wall is adorned with a large mosaic mural titled “Joy”.
Beth Brownlie, Workshop Participant
“I loved the creative and supportive atmosphere Vicky inspired. I was encouraged to create and got helpful suggestions to support my creative vision. I love the stepping stone I made! I highly recommend this workshop and look forward to taking another one.”
Lewette Fitzgerald, Workshop Participant
“I spent a beautiful fall weekend in Vicky’s glorious and inspiring mosaic garden studio. She has a warm teaching style that coaxes each participant’s inner artist to come out. I can’t wait to take another workshop from Vicky and bring some friends.”
Anne Sutton, Workshop Participant
“To those looking for a great mosaic class, you’ve come to the right place! Vicky was patient, compassionate, informative, well-organized, fun, and a committed teacher and artist. She readily gave us a plethora of ideas, showed us samples of works, had all the supplies, and encouraged us all along the way. The atmosphere was relaxed, enjoyable, and very satisfying. She truly enjoys sharing the love of ‘creating art’, and I learned so much. Thank you, Foxworth Studio!”
