Two-day Workshops

Description: In this two-day workshop, we will mosaic a 12 x 12-inch stepping stone, a 9-inch plate (can be mounted on a wall or also used as a decorative plate to go on a plate stand), or a 12 x 12-inch mirror frame (which includes a 6-inch square mirror).

Prior participants may select another project—let’s discuss!

Note: Workshops are two days because the “glue”/thin set must dry overnight before you can grout your piece.

Cost: $175 plus $35 materials fee ($210 total)

Cancellation Policy: Cancel more than three weeks in advance and receive a full refund.

If you need to cancel within three weeks of the workshop date, I will do my best to fill your spot. If I can fill it, I will give you a full refund. If not, I will need to keep your deposit.

The balance is due on the first day of the workshop.

Workshop Goals:

• Create a piece of mosaic art that you love

• Learn the basics of making mosaic art

• Learn how to use various tools and materials

• Have fun and connect with other creative people!

Agenda, Day One: Introductions, overview of making mosaic art (bases, materials, tools, glues, safety, etc.), design considerations, design your piece, “glue” your piece.

Agenda, Day Two: Learn how to grout, decide on grout color, mix grout and colors, grout, and seal your piece.
